Insurance & warranties

When it comes to Insurances: Do I need it? Why do I need it? Can I get this? Can I include it in my payments?… these are just some of the questions.

Yes Finance has teamed up with Janssen Insurance as our insurance provider and with our special business arrangement we can now offer a great range of products as competitive pricing. Janssen Insurance insurance products are underwritten by Quest Insurance.

Payment protection plans

Optional Credit Contract Insurance (CCI)

Covers loan repayments in cases where the insured may become disabled by accident or illness or is made redundant.

In such cases the policyholder is protected against having to make payments for the duration of the disability or redundancy.

In the case of the insured’s death, the balance of outstanding payments (less any arrears) will be paid. Read more.

Consumer Protection Insurance

Consumer Protection Insurance provides cover for the unforeseen sudden accidental physical loss of or damage to the Chattel occurring anywhere in New Zealand and up to 60 consecutive days outside of New Zealand, unless the cause is excluded.

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP)

Assuming the vehicle is financed, Guaranteed Asset Protection is the financial gap between the total loss of your vehicle through accident or theft which your insurance company will pay and the shortfall still owing to the finance company.

It will also cover on road costs, excess, insurance cover and rental costs. Read more.

Car insurance

Comprehensive vehicle insurance (CVI)

Provides full comprehensive insurance for, including cover for accident damage, fire and theft, third party and legal liability up to $100,000.

Mechanical warranties

EliteCover

Elite Cover offers you a more enhanced Mechanical Breakdown Insurance coverage with up to $10,000 claim entitlement and increased benefits. This policy is designed to protect your quality vehicle investment. Read more.

Elite Cover offers you a more enhanced Mechanical Breakdown Insurance coverage with up to $5,000 claim entitlement and increased benefits. This policy is designed to protect your quality vehicle investment. Read more.

EcoCover

Elite Eco Cover offers you a more enhanced Mechanical Breakdown Insurance coverage with higher claim entitlement and increased benefits for your Hybrid/EV vehicles. Read more.

Hi Tracey, you have been an amazing person to deal with. Always looked after me since the very start of my dealings with Yes Finance. Never ever had an issue with your service. Over the ph, your tone was kind, your customer service is excellent (and I would know being a Govt. Dept. Customer Service Manager previously) You are knowledgeable n very informative and at the same time transparent which also shows you know what you're talking about, you give correct information & you are able to have those tough conversations with me ... and to be honest.. its always done with the kindest tone (thank u! :D) Everytime I ring I usually ask for you, becos its not always the same experience then when I'm dealing with you. The tone always sets the flow of the convo.
